A COMPARITIVE CLINICAL STUDY OF CHATURUSHAN ON MODIFIABLE FACTORS OF FRAMINGHAM HEART SCORE IN CARDIO-VASCULAR RISK

This advancement has led to a drastic increase in incidence lifestyle related diseases like Obesity, DM, HTN, Hyperlipidemia etc. eventually leading risk number chronic disorders such as cardio-vascular disease(CVD). Aim & objective: In this clinical study, we are aiming Study Effect Chaturushan dietary supplement CVD Risk assessment per Framingham Heart Score. Objectives:. To assess effect on Total cholesterol, Sr.HDL Blood Pressure experimental group compare same for Gomutra Haritaki(GH) which an already proven drug taken here control. Materials Methods: study 60 patients Dyslipidemia bearing disease were selected by using selection criteria irrespective age, sex, socio-economical status. Group A (n = 30), administered churna 2gm daily 2 divided doses. 3 months B Haritaki was given similar dose duration. therapy assessed objectively Score including Sr.HDL, Systolic Daistolic BP. Also, Physical parameters body weight, waist circumference Body Mass Index (BMI) subjectively cardinal symptoms.After completion all values recorded statistically analyzed results obtained. Conclusion:Chaturushan found quite effective lowering cholesterol levels FHS But, comparing effects two groups subjectively, it can be concluded that both supplements equally reducing subjective scores disease.
